11:15 game times? That's crazy. I think the Factory is a bunch of greedy, money sucking bastards. What a friggen scam! If they don't have enough ice to schedule all the games needed at a decent hour then build another rink or cut back on curling.

Anything after 10pm sucks. but lets walk through this.

say the game is 11:15. Then the game isn't over till 12:15. then you get undressed. now it is 12:45. Then you drive home. now it is 1:30, maybe 2. now try to sleep. hyped up from the game. Now it is three am. now the alarm goes off. it's 6:30 am. you have slept for maybe 4 and half hours at best. Now you have to do what? Function? Maybe you have kids? A job?? Are you kidding me???

the Factory is a meat grinder and until they are delt with they will continue to meat grind us. We can sit down and take it in the ass. or we can stand up, tell then to f*ck off, fix this crappy schedule... or we will go someplace else. Money talks, money walks!

Seriously, this is the first season that the Factory has had games this late. The latest game we played before this season was 10:30. In the past our games have been in the 8:30 - 9:30 range.

I'm also serious when i say we should tell the Factory that this is not acceptable. If we don't, what reason will they have to ever lower our game times? If we don't say something I bet it won't be long before they are scheduling 1 am games.

Well, that is false. We have had late game times from the factory in the B league for 2 years now. And all the other rinks are comparable. The problem time is usually in the Fall/Winter seasons when the youth hockey is in session. We can't expect to have them practice at 11pm. It is only 1 night a week and the start times will go down when the clocks get set forward. As a Captain, I think the factory has done a good job with these times even though it is sometimes a late game 3 weeks in a row. It is not easy to please everyone.

I'm the goalie. I lhate when i have to miss a game. it makes me cranky and no fun to be around. That's why I'm being so cranky now.

So in my tirade, nothing against you personally.. even if you do have the same name as that other scab goalie with the porn star name. I think I speak for all the Jackals when I say we hate him!

It's not that I don't want to play. It's just, i am a walking zombie even after the 10:30 games. The day after a 10:45 game, I walk around and babble to myself. People think I'm Jonah.

if I can add to what Ian is saying, "Yeah!" I don't care what game times are in Toronto. The Canes use that same lame argument. A 20x24 portrait in Raleigh costs $800. The market will not bear that in Nashville. Same thing for hockey games. There are not 10,000 people waiting to play adult hockey.

As for other rinks, I played at the Rec Zone on Sundays and the late game was 10:45 and you only had one every 6-7 weeks. The early game was 4-freaking-45.
